Privacy Policy
How Green Harvest Fertilizer handles the personal information you submit through this website.
1. Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Green Harvest Fertilizer (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles personal information collected through the website www.greenharvestfertilizer.com (the “website”).
It covers only this website. It does not cover information you give us in person, by telephone, through a dealer or distributor, or through any other channel, and it does not cover other websites we may link to.
2. Information we collect
We collect two kinds of information:
- Information you give us directly. This is the information you type into the enquiry form on our Contact page. We do not ask for information anywhere else on this website, and the website has no login, no account creation, no newsletter sign-up and no online payment.
- Technical information collected automatically by our web host. Like almost all websites, the server that delivers these pages records basic technical details of each request, such as the IP address, the browser and device type, the page requested and the date and time. These server logs are generated by our hosting provider for security and reliability purposes.
We do not collect sensitive personal information through this website. Please do not send us financial details, identity document numbers or any other sensitive information through the enquiry form.
3. Enquiry form information
When you submit the enquiry form, we collect:
- your name;
- your mobile number;
- your email address, if you choose to provide one (this field is optional);
- your city or district;
- the type of enquiry you selected;
- the product you selected, if any; and
- the message you wrote.
Your enquiry is delivered to our business email inbox. We do not operate a customer database on this website, and enquiries are not published anywhere on the site.
4. Why we collect it
We use the information you submit only to:
- reply to your enquiry and give you the product information you asked for;
- contact you by phone or email about that enquiry;
- assess dealer, distributor and retailer enquiries; and
- keep an internal record of enquiries so we can follow them up properly.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you sent an enquiry.
5. Storage and security
Enquiries are transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and delivered to our business email account. We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including restricting access to the people in our business who need it in order to respond to you.
No method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Cookies and analytics
This website does not set any cookies of its own. It has no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no social media trackers. Because of this, no cookie consent banner is shown.
This website does not currently use any website analytics service. If an analytics service is added in future, this section will be updated before it is switched on, and a cookie notice will be added if that service requires one.
7. Third-party services
We use a small number of third-party services to run this website. Each one may process limited information when you visit:
- Our web hosting provider stores the website files and keeps the server access logs described in section 2.
- Web3Forms, our enquiry form delivery service, receives the contents of the enquiry form and forwards it to our email inbox. It processes your submission only in order to deliver it to us.
- Google Fonts supplies one typeface used on this website. Your browser requests that font file from Google's servers, which means Google may receive your IP address as part of that request.
- Google Maps is used only through ordinary links. Our office address links open Google Maps in a new tab. No map is embedded in our pages, so nothing is loaded from Google Maps unless you choose to click one of those links.
8. Data retention
We keep enquiry information for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and to maintain a reasonable business record of our dealings with you. Where we have no continuing business reason to keep it, we delete it.
In practice we keep enquiry correspondence for 24 months from the date of the enquiry, after which it is deleted unless we have an ongoing business relationship with you, or a legal or accounting reason to retain it for longer.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable Indian law, you may ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold personal information about you;
- give you a copy of that information;
- correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete information we no longer have a reason to keep; and
- stop contacting you.
To make any of these requests, contact us using the details in section 12. We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request, so that we do not disclose your information to someone else.
10. Children
This website is aimed at farmers and at agricultural businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information through this website, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the website changes or if the law requires it. The current version is always the one published on this page, and the “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. Please review this page from time to time.
